Aabree Coffee Company proudly offers the new Baratza Maestro burr coffee grinder! We have long awaited the arrival of this grinder and expected great performance and value well before it was even built. The designers took their vast experience in the coffee and espresso industry and applied it perfectly to the new Maestro.

They diligently compiled input from several retailers who have been selling other Baratza grinders for the past few years. The result is a new and improved, perfectly designed coffee grinder.

Professional Quality Grinding System
The Baratza Maestro burr grinder uses a "conical" grinding system. It utilizes a cone shaped grinding wheel that grinds against a stationary grinding surface. The cone shaped wheel spins at very slow speeds. The coffee beans fall through the grinding chute which are then crushed between the grinding wheel and a stationary grinding surface. Conical grinders offer excellent grind consistency for all grinding applications. The static charge, which causes most grinders to fling coffee grounds everywhere, has been greatly reduced with the Maestro.
Grind Directly Into Your Filter Holder (for espresso machine)
The need to scoop coffee from the catching bin has been eliminated. The Maestro grinder can grind coffee directly into the filter basket of your espresso machine. Since the coffee grounds are dispensed downward instead of straight out like most grinders, there is less mess.
360o On/Off Knob
The Maestro features an on/off knob on the bottom right side of the machine. The redesigned model has overturn protection, which means you can turn the knob a complete 360o without any risk over overturn. The knob also has 2 on/off switches within the knob for an added element of convenience.
Large Capacity Grounds Catcher
The see through coffee grounds catcher seals tightly into the grinder housing to prevent coffee grounds from escaping during grinding.
Multiple Grind Settings
The multiple position grind selector delivers the right fineness for all coffee and espresso makers. Choose among 40 settings. To adjust the settings, simply turn the easy gliding bean hopper.
Easy Access to Grinding System for Cleaning
The grinding wheel can be accessed by removing the quick release bean hopper, and then removing the grinding ring. This exposes the entire grinding chamber so cleaning can be performed. Removing and replacement of the grinding wheel takes less than 10 seconds.
½ lb. Bean Hopper Capacity
It features a large bean hopper allowing you to store up to a ½ pound of coffee beans. The hopper is made of heavy frosted plastic.
Anti-Static Design
The conical grinding mechanism helps reduce the amount of statically charged coffee grounds. This helps prevent coffee grounds from becoming airborne or clinging to inside of the coffee grounds catcher.
Durable Construction
The grinder housing is made of impact resistant plastic and features slip resistant rubber feet.
Powerful 240 Watt Motor
The Baratza Maestro features a poweful 240 watt motor. This strong electric motor provides plenty of grinding power even at lower grind settings. It will ensure perfect grinding no matter what setting the fineness selector is adjusted for.
