With a built-in metal tea infuser and plunger, the Bonjour Shut Off Tea Infuser lets you control steeping time for your favorite loose tea. This French press-style teapot is easy to use and can brew up to 42oz of tea. To brew, fill the metal infuser basket with 3-5 teaspoons of loose-leaf tea, pour boiling water into the glass carafe and steep the tea to taste. Press down on the plunger to shut off the brewing process when you’re done. The Bonjour Tea Infuser has a lowered glass spout for easy pouring, and you can even brew sachet or blooming tea by removing the metal infuser. The glass teapot can be washed in the dishwasher, however Bonjour recommends hand washing all parts to keep them looking new.
