With a powerful 800-watt boiler and a built-in thermostat, this Bunn coffee maker keeps water at a steady 200oF at all times. Its external housing is made of polished black or white plastic, and the machine is accented with a stainless steel faceplate to show off its professional quality. The GRX can produce anywhere from 4 cups (20 oz) to 10 cups (50 oz) at a time, and you can adjust the volume just by changing the quantity of water you pour into the reservoir. Pourover Brewing System |

Bunn’s patented pourover system makes it possible to brew a full pot of coffee at any time, without waiting for the water to heat up. Just open the GRX’s flip-up lid and begin filling the reservoir with water. The GRX will begin brewing as soon as you have closed the lid. On initial startup, the boiler will take about 15 minutes to fully heat the first batch of water to brewing temperature, but once it’s heated, every subsequent brewing cycle takes just 3 minutes from start to finish. Since the water in the GRX’s boiler is always kept at brewing temperature, you should switch the machine off if you’re going to be gone for 3 days or more. The GRX has a special vacation switch located on the back left of the machine, which turns off all of the electrical components while you’re away. |

Showerhead Design |

The GRX uses a unique water system to ensure that all of your coffee grounds are extracted consistently. The GRX sends water through the showerhead in evenly dispersed streams, saturating every area of the coffee filter so that there are no over extracted pockets. Plus, the showerhead provides faster water distribution to give you a quick pot of coffee without compromising the rich flavors and aromas in the grounds. |

Stainless Steel Boiler |

The GRX features a rugged 800-watt stainless steel boiler that can heat cold water to brewing temperatures in just 15 minutes. Once the water is heated, the internal thermostat keeps the water at a controlled 200oF, so you don’t have to wait for your water to heat up when you’re ready to brew. Just add water to the reservoir, and the GRX will make a pot in 3 minutes. |

This Bunn coffee maker comes with a 10-cup (50 oz) easy-pour carafe. With an easy-grip handle and a drip-free spout, you can make consistent pours without worrying about spilling coffee. |

Water Reservoir |
|
The GRX’s water reservoir is located on the top and back of the machine, and it can be filled through the flip-up lid on the top of the machine. When you add water to the GRX, water in the boiler is sent through the sprayhead and into the coffee filter. The reservoir lid acts as an on/off switch for the brewing cycle, so be sure your carafe is in place before closing the lid. |

Built-in Hot Plate |
|
To keep your coffee warm, the GRX includes a hot plate that can be turned on or off by using the switch on the front of the machine. With the built-in hot plate, you can enjoy those last few cups even more, but be sure to turn off your hot plate after 30 minutes to avoid overheating your coffee. |

Descaling Rod |
|
To keep your GRX working properly, you should use the included descaling rod on a routine basis to get rid of limescale buildup in the tube above your sprayhead. Removing limescale and coffee residue from your GRX will ensure that you’re getting the freshest coffee from your machine. The entire cleaning process only takes a few minutes to complete, and detailed instructions can be found in the product manual. |

Specialized Coffee Filter |
|
Like our other Bunn home coffee makers, the GRX uses Bunn’s specially designed fluted paper filters. The GRX comes with a pack of Bunn’s special filters to accommodate the larger flow rate of the showerhead spray system. Be sure to always use Bunn paper filters with your GRX coffee maker. Refills are available through our website. |
