Operating the Jura Capresso Impressa S7 Avantgarde is simple. There is a power button that once pressed begins heating the two stainless steel thermo bloc boilers. Strength and volume on the S7 are controlled by either a pre-programmed button or a manual dial. After making your selection, just press the brew button and the Impressa grinds, tamps, and brews coffee to your specifications. |

Dual Boilers |
|
Designers at Jura Capresso included two stainless steel lined thermo bloc boilers for maximum heat retention. In addition, the stainless steel boilers provide Rapid Steam – allowing you to go from brewing to steaming and frothing with no down time. |

Pre Ground Coffee Funnel |

The S7 Avantgarde has a separate bypass doser for pre-ground coffee. It is easy to add 6 to 9 grams of ground espresso through the top-loading lid and brew decaffeinated coffee when entertaining. |

Automatic Milk Frothing System |
|
The included FrothXpress Plus system eliminates the need to steam milk the traditional way. It includes a special nozzle, hose and milk container that replace the built-in steam wand. At the push of a button, the S7 Avantgarde will froth the correct amount of milk. When the frothXpress Plus is attached, the Avantgarde begins to draw milk out of the container and into the machine where it is heated and frothed. It is then dispensed onto the coffee drink. You may also use the standard steam wand for frothing smaller quantities of milk. |

The S7 has a dual frothing steam wand that makes steaming or frothing milk simple. Just place the wand directly into a milk pitcher and you are able to make froth for cappuccinos in seconds. |

Hot Water Dispenser |

The S7 instantly dispenses hot water for tea, hot chocolate or café Americanos through the steam wand. |

Brew System with Special Pre Infusion System |

With this special two-step pre-infusion cycle, coffee grounds are automatically pre-moistened allowing the Avantgarde to extract the maximum amount of flavor and make perfect thick, rich crèma every time. |

Conical Coffee Grinder |

The Capresso Impressa S7 features a commercial quality conical burr coffee grinder that grinds at a low speed – preventing your beans from burning. |

Built-in Water Tank |
|
The Jura Capresso S7 Avantgarde has a removable 96 oz water reservoir. The water reservoir has indicator lines and a plastic handle for easy removal. Additionally, this Jura Capresso machine will notify you on the LED digital display when the reservoir is empty and needs to be refilled. |

Clearyl Water Care System |
|
The Clearyl Water Care System helps keep water pure for brewing and removes limescale and bacteria. This filter provides better tasting coffee, protects and extends the life of your coffee center, and eliminates the need to descale the machine. |

The internal dump box for used coffee is easy to clean on the Impressa S7 Avantgarde. The dump box holds approximately 16 used coffee pucks and a notice on the LED digital display will notify you when it is necessary to empty the box. |

The Jura Capresso Impressa S7 Avantgarde comes pre-programmed from the factory to alert you when decalcification is needed based on the average water hardness. Additionally, Capresso provides a test kit and simple directions on how to program your super automatic for cleaning based on your specific water hardness and the results from your test kit. |

With an adjustable programming coffee dosing system, the S7 can brew coffee in a variety of strengths – very mild, mild, normal, strong and very strong. |

Programmable Beverage Volume |
|
Choosing the right size drink is simple - the S7 Avantgarde allows you to select brewing from ½ oz to 8 oz per cup easily. Either program one of the brewing buttons by holding it down until the amount you desire has been dispensed, or use the a la carte button to decide just before brewing. |

Multiple Languages |
|
The S7 has seven languages to choose from. English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Dutch are all programmed into the digital display on the Avantgarde. |

Multiple Temperature Settings |
|
The Jura Capresso Impressa S7 Avantgarde features two temperature settings – high and normal. The high setting is approximately 7º higher than normal. |

Automatic Timer and Clock |
|
The Avantgarde is programmable to turn on at any time thanks to a digital clock. It will also run a hot water rinse cycle as well as pre-heat all the brewing components. |

Energy Saving Mode |
|
The energy saving mode is programmed to turn off automatically after 5 hours and can be programmed to turn off in any 30-minute interval up to 15 hours later. |
