Convenient Coffee Filter Access - The permanent GoldTone coffee filter can be accessed and removed from the top of the machine by pushing the release lever for the lid. The filter holder is also removable for cleaning.
Brew Pause System - The Brew Central allows for removal of the carafe during mid brew for those who just can't wait for the full pot! The filter basket automatically stops the coffee flow when the carafe is removed for up to 30 seconds without it dripping onto the warming plate; resuming again once it is replaced.

12-Cup Carafe - The lid on the carafe has been designed in such a way as to considerably reduce heat loss and to preserve more of the flavor of the coffee. It also helps reduce exposure to outside air, which oxidizes the coffee (exposes to oxygen) and damages the taste and aroma.
Easy to Use Controls - The Brew Central coffee maker features a digital clock and timer control that allows for automatic brewing up to 24 hours in advance. The timer will automatically turn the coffee maker off as well, and you can program this to occur in one hour increments up to four hours. You can adjust the carafe temperature and the carafe pre-warming system from here. A red power light is also provided. The unique knobs and switches are well thought out and made to last.
1-4 Cup Setting - If you wish to make a smaller pot of coffee between 1-4 cups, the Brew Central has a feature that will ensure your coffee tastes as well as a full pot of coffee. Press the "1-4 Cup" button on the control panel and the machine will double heat the small amount of water needed to ensure the coffee is as hot as that expected from a larger pot of coffee.
Built In Water Filtration - The anti-chlorine action of the filter will give the coffee a more delicate flavor. Good coffee starts with good water. Each filter lasts for two months or 60 pots, and they are easily replaceable. The use of the filter is optional, as it is not required to brew coffee. It can be removed from the reservoir if you wish.
