Controls |

The Delonghi DC514T 14 cup coffee maker features 24-hour full programmability. Program the coffee maker at your convenience, and fresh coffee will be ready at your preferred time. Its control panel features a blue backlit digital clock with buttons for set timer, set clock, on/off/auto, and aroma. Below the clock are indicator lights, which show how long it has been since the coffee was brewed. |

If you want a cup of coffee before the brewing cycle is completed, you can remove the carafe and pour out a cup without making a mess. Replace the carafe immediately so brewing can continue, and to prevent any overflow in the filter basket. |

Carafe and Hot Plate |

The 70 oz glass carafe features easy to read side markings, a no-spill spout, and a convenient handle. It rests on the non-stick hot plate, which keeps coffee warm after brewing is complete. The carafe can be washed by hand in warm, soapy water. |

Water Reservoir |
|
For the freshest tasting espresso, the water reservoir includes a chlorine-eliminating water filter. The 70 oz water reservoir also features an internal water level indicator. An automatic decalcification indicator light informs you of when it’s time to descale. |

Aroma Button |
|
The aroma button activates Delonghi’s own flavor and aroma enhancing brewing process. Brewing takes place over several continuous cycles, in which water is released into the ground coffee in 30 second time-release intervals. Grounds are saturated a little at a time, thereby extracting the fullest flavors. Delonghi recommends using the aroma button when making small batches of coffee. |

The Delonghi DC514T’s exterior is made of brushed stainless steel. The front panel swings open for access to the filter basket and water reservoir. A showerhead water distribution design ensures that all coffee grounds in the filter basket are completely saturated, and a permanent gold-tone filter is included. |
