15-bar Pump - It’s rare for a machine at this cost and size to feature such a powerful pump, but the EC155 has a 15-bar pump that will get a great extraction from your espresso. The pump is also self-priming, so setting up the machine right out of the box or after a long vacation isn’t a complicated process.

Ground Coffee or Pods - With the EC155, you have 2 options for creating delicious espresso shots. Use the patented Sempre Crema filter to brew using your favorite ground espresso, or use the included pod filter basket to brew using ESE pods. No matter what option you choose, the EC155 will create a layer of golden crema on top of your shots.

Easy-to-Use Controls - A simple dial lets you switch between all of the EC155’s settings. Icons for steam, power off, power on, coffee/hot water dispensing stretch from left to right above the dial, and indicator lights can also be found around the dial. These lights will let you know when the machine has reached proper temperature for brewing or steaming.

Frothing Attachment - To make frothing and steaming milk for macchiatos, cappuccinos, and lattes by hand easy, the DeLonghi EC155 has a special steam wand attachment. This bell-shaped plastic frother will help distribute steam throughout your pitcher, so creamy frothed or steamed milk is only moments away. For the best taste, make sure to clean this attachment after use.

Hot Water - If you require hot water for soup, tea, or hot chocolate, the EC155 can dispense hot water from its steam wand. Simply turn the control knob to the brewing/hot water icon as you turn the steam knob to the open position. When enough hot water has been dispensed, just turn the steam knob and control knob back.

Stainless Steel Boiler - Stainless steel boilers are designed to stand up to scale build-up and to heat up quickly when you turn the machine on. The EC155 features a stainless steel boiler with 2 thermostats, one for brewing temperature and one for steaming temperature.

Removable Drip Tray - To make cleaning and maintenance easy, the DeLonghi EC155 has a removable drip tray underneath the coffee dispensing spout. It should be emptied at the end of every day and cleaned with non-abrasive detergent.

Removable Water Reservoir - The EC155 has a water reservoir with a 35 oz capacity, enough for 17 shots of espresso. It’s also removable, so cleaning and filling are always easy.
