Pre-programmable Brew Buttons Highlight Controls |
The Expobar Office Control has a five-button touch pad for activating the pump and programming your favorite drinks. The easily programmable controls makes it possible for anyone to operate The Control. There are four buttons that can be preprogrammed to measure the exact amount of coffee going into your cup, and then shut off when the task is complete. And the fifth button is for steam. It’s as easy as that. |
The main power rocker switch is the big red button tucked behind the hot water wand. Turn it on, and the round, red temperature light goes on. When that light goes out, you are up to temperature and ready to brew. |

Stainless Steel Housing & Steel Framing |
Inside, a strong, durable steel frame holds the Control together. And outside, a stainless steel housing encases it. This housing, while beautiful, is also highly functional, making the machine easy to wipe down, and tolerant of a lot of day-to-day wear. |
Powerful Pump for Perfect Pressure Brewed Coffee |
The Office Control has a powerful self-priming vibration pump capable of putting out as much as 15 BAR of pressure, thus making the requisite brewing pressure of 8 to 9 BAR a cinch. |
Commercial Caliber Brew Group, E61-type Group Head & Portafilter |
To ensure commercial caliber performance, The Office Control enlists the aid of a commercial caliber brew group of solid chrome-plated brass and features a 3-way solenoid valve. The star of the whole assembly is the E61-type group head, which is the round piece of chrome-plated brass the portafilter locks into. It is channel cut – thermal siphoned – which allows the water to circulate through it before being pressure forced across the coffee grinds n the portafilter. The Control’s dual-spouted portafilter is also constructed of heavy marine grade brass, has a durable plastic handle and holds a 58mm filter brew basket – which is a commercial size basket and also the industry standard. This entire assembly is designed to retain heat at a constant temperature. And this keeps the water at a stable, consistent temperature of 195 degrees at the spout, which is imperative for brewing the perfect espresso. |
3 Way Solenoid Valve |
The three-way solenoid valve is a commercial feature that relieves the water pressure from the machine when the brew switch is turned off, making it possible to immediately begin brewing again. It also pulls the excess water out of the used coffee grinds in the portafilter, making the puck easy to knock out of the portafilter cleanly. It then deposits this water into the drip tray, and you’re ready to reload and brew again. |

Copper Heat Exchanger Boiler System Complete with Safety Features |
The large 1.7-liter copper boiler with brass end plate takes about fifteen minutes to heat up. Once it is up to operating pressure, it can brew continuous espressos all day long, and in under 25 seconds each. Due to the boiler’s large size, The Office Control can also pump out many lattes and cappuccinos without any down time. And because it’s a heat exchanger, you have the capability to brew and steam at the same time. |
The Office Control also features a series of safety features to preserve the life of the machine and for your protection. If the water level in the boiler gets low. The electronic controls sense this and turn the pump on to automatically fill the boiler. If the reservoir runs out of water a CPU board will turn off the heating element to prevent overheating. A manual reset high temperature switch is located on top of the boiler as a secondary safety switch. The boiler temperature/pressure is controlled through a professional grade pressure controller. It senses the pressure in the boiler and turns on the heating element in the boiler as the pressure drops. |
