Pure Brewing |

The Gaggia Espresso Pure simplifies espresso preparation, hearkening back to traditional espresso. Just add espresso to the portafilter, insert the portafilter into the brew group, and press the brew button to dispense espresso. The chrome plated brass portafilter and stainless steel boiler lend excellent heat stability to the espresso, ensuring that it is brewed at the proper temperature. |

Pods or Grounds? |
|
You can brew using pods or grounds. Pods are convenient and mess-free single servings of ground and tamped espresso. Ground coffee, however, gives you control over dosing and tamping pressure, so you have more ability to fine-tune your shot. |

Pure Steaming |
|
The stainless steel boiler produces steam output for foaming and steaming milk. This capability is really what allows you to create a menu of café style drinks, like lattes, cappuccinos, and steamers, in the comfort of your own home. To release steam, press the steam button, wait for the machine to warm up, and open the steam knob. The Gaggia Espresso Pure uses a Pannarello frothing wand to make texturing milk easy, even if you’re a beginner. |

Hot Water |
|
The steam wand also acts as a hot water dispenser – just press the coffee/hot water button and open the steam knob to release hot water. This feature is great for making tea, americanos, or hot cocoa. |

Water System |
|
The 42 oz water reservoir is removable from the back of the machine. To protect your brewing components from impurities found in tap water, Gaggia recommends using filtered or distilled water. Your instruction manual has detailed instructions on how to descale your Gaggia Espresso Pure. |

Cleaning and Maintenance |
|
Cleaning the machine is simple – wipe down the machine body with a damp cloth when needed. When the drip tray fills, empty and rinse the drip tray, and wash the drip tray cover to keep it free of coffee residue. After using the steam wand, wipe the nozzle with a damp cloth and run some steam through it to flush out any milk particles. |
