Simple To Use Controls |

The Coffee de Luxe features three rocker-type switches set in a column on the left front side of the machine. The top button turns the machine on or off. When the machine is on, a small indicator light directly below this button will be illuminated. Below the on/off switch sits the steam button, which activates the boiler to heat to steam temperature. When the proper temperature is achieved, a light located above the steam button will illuminate, at which point you can simply open the steam knob to release steam. Below the steam switch is the brewing button, which activates the pump and dispenses water through the brew group for brewing. |

Enhanced Milk Frothing Tip and Auto Frothing Attachment |
|
The Gaggia Coffee de Luxe produces ample dry steam for frothing milk and the patented Gaggia “Turbo Milk Frothing Tip” makes frothing milk a snap. The frothing tip is a plastic sleeve that slips onto the end of the steam wand. It has an air induction hole that draws air into the sleeve while frothing milk. The air is injected into the milk to help produce foam quickly and easily. You may also remove the sleeve if you wish to heat the milk without producing as much foam. The steam wand is made of stainless steel and swivels to accommodate a 12 or 20 oz. milk-frothing pitcher. (To release steam from the machine, simply turn the steam control knob on the right side of the machine). |

The Coffee de Luxe also comes with an automatic frothing attachment. The attachment will place pre-frothed milk right into your cappuccino or latte cup. Regardless of the attachment, frothing is sure to be simple and convenient. |

Illy Pod Capable Filter Baskets and Heavy Duty Portafilter |
|
The machine features one of the heaviest portafilters in its class. Made of heavy marine grade brass, and covered with a chrome plating, it helps maintain thermal stability in your drink preparation, which gives you the best espresso possible. The Gaggias use commercial-standard 58mm filter baskets made of stainless steel, and the single shot filter basket will accommodate ESE certified pods like Illy and Lavazza. |

Removable Water Reservoir |

The 64-ounce water reservoir is removable for cleaning and is made of shatter resistant ABS plastic, and you may also fill it from the top of the machine, even during operation. The water volume is easily seen from almost any angle. |

Heated Cup Stacking Surface |
|
The Gaggia Coffee de Luxe has a heated cup stacking service that allows you to preheat your cups before serving your beverages. Warm cups are desired in making perfect espresso because you're dealing with very small volumes of liquid, which can be cooled off rapidly if poured into a cold cup. |

The drip tray is made of durable plastic and removes for easy cleaning and the cup tray is made of polished stainless steel. |

Instant Hot Water Dispensing |
|
The machine delivers instant hot water just by turning the steam knob during normal standby (brewing) mode and activating the brew switch. Hot water will be dispensed from the steam wand. Use hot water to make tea, Americanos, hot chocolate, or other hot beverages. |

Powerful Pump System |

The 16 BAR, self-priming pump will provide more than enough pressure to make excellent espresso topped with thick crema. |

High Performance Boiler |
