The Gaggia TS is a prosumer espresso machine that combines professional components and capabilities with a home-friendly design. With impeccable build quality including a stainless-steel body, 2.5-inch slip-resistant legs, a thermostat-monitored, electrically heated brew group and four-hole steam wand, the Gaggia TS is made to impress.
A horizontally mounted 2.3-liter copper boiler and 1500-watt heating element offers optimal temperature stability, with the added bonus of being exceedingly durable. When you’re ready to brew, the TS delivers beyond expectation with a chrome-plated brass brew group and two 58mm portafilters, a single and a double spout; both are also made of chrome plated brass. The combination of the heavy-duty material and electronic heating component guarantees optimal brewing temperature for great tasting espresso.
Three-Way Solenoid, Pressure-Relief, and Anti-Suction Valves:
When you’re done extracting espresso, the three-way solenoid valve kicks in to alleviate water pressure - leaving you with a dry, mess-free puck. The solenoid valve empties straight into the drip tray. The TS is also outfitted a pressure relief valve that eases boiler pressure and an anti-suction valve that prevents milk from being drawn through the steam wand and into the boiler. Collectively, these valves act to safeguard the machine and extend its useful life.
Steam Wand and Hot Water Dispenser:
The stainless-steel steam wand has a four-hole steam tip for superior milk texture and consistency. It is mounted on a swivel joint for your convenience. A separate water dispenser, located on the other side of the machine, gives you easy access to hot water for teas, Americanos, and more. It is also mounted on a swivel joint.
The TS has a large 96-ounce water reservoir. An electronic sensor will alert you when water levels are low and the reservoir needs to be refilled.
