Not just any espresso machine, the Gaggia Accademia is more like a full-service beverage center for the home. It features seven separate drink buttons for one-touch espresso, caffe, caffe lungo, latte macchiato, cappuccino and hot water. A ceramic burr grinder lets you grind fresh coffee for every beverage or take advantage of the bypass doser to brew with pre-ground. For café-quality cappuccinos, lattes, and macchiatos, the Accademia has a one-of-a-kind external milk management system with a detachable carafe that lets you steam and froth with ease.

Bean Hopper, Grinder and Bypass Doser - The bean hopper has an aroma-saving double lid to preserve coffee freshness. This model is also equipped with a ceramic burr grinder, seven grind settings, and a bypass doser to accommodate diverse brewing preferences. The doser and grinder are accessible from the top of the machine for hassle-free maintenance.

Brewing -

The Gaggia Accademia has a 15-bar pump and dual stainless steel boilers, allowing you to seamlessly transition between steaming and frothing and espresso extraction with minimal down time. This super automatic also has a dedicated pre-infusion cycle to extract the full flavor and aroma of your coffee.

You’ll be able to customize every beverage, with the seven programmable drink options. Select the desired drink temperature, volume and strength; the Accademia will memorize your preferences for future use. Milk selections are also programmable; choose from minimal, normal or no froth options to create the desired beverage.

The brew group is removable for easy maintenance; simply rinse it under tap water and you’re good to go!

Steaming and Frothing - The Milk Management System features a detachable carafe and external milk circuit. Milk never actually enters the machine so you won’t have to worry about it clogging up the unit. The Accademia also engages an automated cleaning cycle to rinse the circuit post steam/froth cycle to rid it of milk residue.

Water Reservoir and Filter - The 1.7-liter reservoir features an integrated four-step Mavea Water Filtration System remove minerals from your tap water and alleviate scale build up.

Design - The Accademia has a stainless steel front panel with a telescopic drink dispenser that can be adjusted to accommodate cups as tall as 6.5”. This unit has a clear LCD display and intuitive, push-button controls for your convenience. The Accademia measures 15.2"H x 1.1"W x 16.8"D.
