It doesn’t have to be. With the Gaggia Platinum Vogue, enjoy haute couture coffee with hassle-free ease. Completely automatic, the Vogue will grind, dose, and brew your coffee to taste. Add a few more individual touches with the Pannarello frothing wand or optional Milk Island. The Vogue’s stainless steel body is designed for both sophistication and simplicity, and is an attractive addition to any kitchen or office. The stainless steel Rapid Steam boiler system cuts out the wait between brewing and steaming. We like to think of the Gaggia Platinum Vogue as “practical decadence” at its best.

Control Panel - The main feature of the control panel is a circular knob, in the middle of which are two buttons. This is the volume control knob. The larger button controls brewing. Press it once or twice depending on the number of cups you want. The smaller button, with the beans on it, controls brew strength. The hot water button, which is backlit, is to the right of the knob. If it is lit, hot water is selected, when it is unlit, the machine is in steam function.

Indicator Lights - The control panel features four indicator lights, to the left of the volume knob. The lights each stand for different alerts. The top light means the grounds drawer needs to be emptied, the bottom light signals it is time for descaling. In the middle are an alarm light that when it is permanently on tells you the hopper is out of beans, the water tank is empty, or the drip tray is full. Flashing slowly it means the brew group is not inserted, the grounds drawer is not inserted, the service door is open, or the steam/hot water knob is turned wrong. Blinking quickly it indicates the boiler needs to be primed. The fourth light, if blinking, means the machine is warming up. If steady, it means the machine is ready.

Brewing on the Vogue - It is all up to you! Adjust the volume knob to brew an espresso, a short coffee or a long coffee. The Opti-doser allows you to choose how much coffee is ground, tamped and brewed. Press the brew button for either one or two coffees, and the machine takes it from there.

Rapid Steam Boiler System - With many espresso machines the user must wait for the machine to heat again between brewing and steaming. Not the with the Platinum Vogue! The stainless steel boiler and Rapid Steam boiler system allow you to go right from one to the other and back.

Bean Hopper and Grinder - The 8.8oz bean hopper is durable, sealable plastic, easy to monitor and refill. During brewing, beans release from the hopper into the ceramic burr grinder, and you can adjust the grinder to your preferred fineness.

Stainless Steel Cup Warmer - Great espresso starts from the cup, and a warm cup makes all the difference. The Gaggia Platinum Vogue features a residual heat stainless steel cup warmer so you can keep your demitasse cups warm in style.

Espresso Plus System - Adjust the intensity of your coffee, even while you brew, with the Espresso plus system. From mild to medium to strong, with phases in between, the Gaggia Platinum Vogue gives you truly customized coffee.

Pannarello Steam Wand - The ball jointed steam wand and Pannarello frothing devise were designed to give you great drinks without the hassle and exactness of “working” your milk. Enjoy café quality cappuccinos, lattes and more with ease .

Gaggia Milk Island (not included) - With the Gaggia Milk Island, you get consistently steamed and frothed milk every time. Simply pour cold milk into the carafe, set the carafe on the “island,” hooked to your machines steaming devise, and turn it on. Within seconds you’ll have thick, creamy, professional looking foam.

Water System with Aqua Prima Water Filter - The Gaggia Platinum Vogue include an Aqua Prima water filter to further ensure the life of your machine. The removable reservoir is easy to fill and clean, and holds 57oz, so you don’t have to worry about constantly refilling.

Removable Brew Group - Worried about keeping your coffee tasting fresh? It is easy with the Platinum Vogue. The brew group is removable, and can regularly be rinsed under normal tap water to remove any coffee residue or oil. We include a lubricant that you can use about once a month. The spent puck box, drip tray and reservoir are all easily removed for cleaning.

Drip Tray and Cover - You have the choice to brew short or tall coffees - and now you have the choice to use short or tall cups. The drip tray can be manually raised or lowered to accommodate different cup sizes. The cover is stainless steel and easy to clean.

Included Accessories - The Gaggia Platinum Vogue comes with a grinder adjustment key, Aqua Prima water filter, power cable, and lubricant for the brew group.
