Each pod contains 6.9 grams of Arabica espresso that has been ground and tamped to perfection, so you never have to worry about grind fineness or tamp pressure. These ESE (Easy Serve Espresso) pods are compatible with almost any semi-automatic machine, but make sure to check that your machine is pod ready before purchasing. To brew, just place the pod in the filter basket with the "Illy" label facing up. Each box contains 18 medium roast E.S.E. pods and each case contains 12 boxes (216 total ESE pods).
