In pursuit of perfection, the designers at Jura Capresso have engineered one of the most sophisticated espresso centers on the market: the Impressa Z6. Its chrome-plated aluminum finish and mirrored LED digital display give way to a top of the line espresso machine with every feature current technology has to offer.
Besides its stunning looks, the Z6’s main attraction is its 1-touch cappuccino feature, which makes it possible to make a freshly brewed cappuccino by pressing only one button. In fact, when you use this cappuccino brewing feature, you don’t even have to move your cup – the Z6 grinds and brews a fresh coffee and tops it off with frothed milk all in one step. But with this Capresso espresso machine, you’re not just locked into cappuccino. With 6 programmable brewing buttons and a rotary dial that lets you override any presets at will, you can make anything from ristrettos to café cremas with barely any effort. And for even more options, the Jura Z6 features a bypass doser that allows you to brew using preground coffee instead of the whole beans that are in the hopper – a great feature for frequent entertainers or those of us who simply like a little variety.
1-Touch Cappuccino Brewing - With the Z6’s unique cappuccino brewing system, you only need to press one button to get a creamy cappuccino in under a minute. Just place your cup under the cappuccino nozzle on the left side of the machine and press the cappuccino button. Then the Z6 starts grinding whole beans while it froths milk and dispenses it into your cup. Moments later, your freshly brewed espresso is added to the milk, for the freshest tasting cappuccino you can get.
Dual Stainless-Steel Aluminum Lined Thermoblock Boilers - Designed with two stainless-steel aluminum lined thermoblock boilers, the Impressa Z6 is perfect for making coffeehouse style drinks one after the other. The dual boilers also allow you to alternate seamlessly between brewing and steaming.
Mirrored LED Digital Display - The mirrored digital display panel on the Impressa Z6 presents status messages and prompts in your choice of six languages. Not only will the display let you know when the reservoir and bean hopper need to be refilled, it also alerts you when you need to perform maintenance procedures like emptying the dump box, running a cleaning cycle, and replacing the Clearyl water filter.
Automatic Milk Steaming and Frothing System - The hands-free frothing system on the Impressa Z6 eliminates any learning curve normally associated with frothing milk. Automatically drawing milk out of the stainless-steel thermal container, the Z6’s auto frothing attachment steams or froths the milk and dispenses it directly into your cup. The only things you have to do are attach the thermal container to the auto frother, put your cup under the spout, and press a button.
Eight Programmable Brewing Buttons - In addition to the hot water and steaming buttons, all of the brewing buttons (one small cup, two small cups, one large cup, two large cups, special cup and cappuccino) are fully programmable to dispense the exact liquid volume you’d like. The brewing buttons can also be individually programmed for strength as well as brewing temperature, and you can always override any of these presets during the brewing process simply by turning the rotary dial on the top of the Z6. And if you do choose to change anything on the fly, you don’t even have to worry about losing your programmed settings – the Z6 will automatically revert to its presets after the brewing cycle is complete.
Bypass Doser for Pre-Ground Coffee - The Impressa Z6 features a bypass doser for use with pre-ground coffee. Discretely hidden on the top of the machine, the bypass doser allows you to add ground-decaffeinated coffee without removing any beans from hopper when entertaining.
Hot Water Dispenser - When powered on, the Impressa Z6 instantly dispenses hot water for tea, hot chocolate or café Americanos through a separate hot water wand located on the center brewing station.
Height Adjustable Dual Coffee Spout - The Z6 easily accommodates large or small espresso cups since its center brewing station moves up and down. In addition, the cappuccino dispensing station has 2 different size spout attachments, so you can brew your cappuccino into your favorite mug no matter how big it is.
Removable Water Reservoir - The Z6 has a removable 96oz water reservoir. The large reservoir is constructed of smoked, heavy duty plastic and has a plastic handle for easy removal. Additionally, the Z6’s LED display will notify you when the reservoir is empty and needs to be refilled.
Multiple Strength Settings - With five strength settings to chose from, extra mild, mild, normal, strong, and extra strong, the Impressa Z6 will automatically adjust the amount of ground coffee needed based on your selection.
Pre-Infusion Cycle - A special pre-infusion cycle pre-moistens the grounds and allows the Z6 to extract the maximum amount of flavor while brewing. This well designed process allows the Impressa Z6 to brew delicious tasting espresso every time.
Professional Quality Conical Coffee Grinder with Six Settings - The Z6 has a built-in conical burr grinder with six settings. Designed by Jura Capresso to grind slowly and precisely, it will provide a consistent grind and never overheat the beans.
Actively Heated Cup Warmer - An actively heated cup warmer stores six demitasse mugs on a heavy-duty plastic tray.
Multiple Temperature Settings - To accommodate any palate, the Impressa Z6 has three adjustable temperature settings: low, normal, and high.
Coffee Bean Storage Hopper - Equipped to hold 10 oz of coffee beans, the Z6 has a bean hopper on top of the machine. Disguised with a lid that matches the rest of the Z6’s top, the hopper also contains the grind setting adjustment knob.
Removable Oversized Drip Tray - Designed to catch spill over and wastewater, the oversized drip tray on the Impressa Z6 is chrome plated, while the tray cover itself is constructed of hand polished die-cast zinc.
Oversized Internal Dump Box for Used Coffee Grounds - The internal dump box on the Impressa Z6 holds approximately 20 used coffee pucks. A notice on the mirrored LED digital display will let you know when it is necessary to empty the box.
Automatic Cup Counter - The Z6 automatically counts the number of drinks made, so you can keep a regular maintenance schedule.
Clearyl Water Filtration System - The Clearyl Water Filtration System helps keep water pure for brewing and removes limescale and bacteria particles. This filter provides better tasting coffee and protects and extends the life of your machine, as well as eliminating the need to descale.
Automatic Cleaning Cycles - The Impressa Z6 arrives programmed from the factory to alert you when decalcification is needed based on the average water hardness or approximately 200 brewed cups. The Z6 also comes with a water hardness test kit, simple directions and easy-to-follow instructions that appear on the mirrored LED digital display when cleaning is necessary.
Energy Savings and Automatic On/Off - The energy saving mode on the Z6 can be programmed to automatically turn off up to five hours after being idle. This energy saving mode will shut the boiler down but keep the controls on and ready. The Z6 also has an automatic timer and automatic hot water rinse cycle, which cleans and pre-heats the machine so it’s ready to brew whenever you decide.
