Brewing - This coffee maker is equipped with an 1100-watt heat pump and electronic temperature controls to deliver consistent beverage temperatures. Making a custom drink is easy; choose between regular and bold beverages, with the Variable Brew Strength Selector. If don’t need the full 10 cups of coffee, the 1-4 Cup Setting is available to preserve beverage flavor and aroma. There is even a Pause and Serve feature that will let you interrupt the brew cycle, if you’re in a hurry, to pour yourself a cup of coffee.

Programmable Auto-On Feature - The KitchenAid 10 Cup Thermal Carafe Coffee Maker can be programmed up to 24 hours in advance to automatically start the brew cycle at a preset time. If you like waking up to freshly brewed coffee, this model can deliver.

Brew Basket and Filters - The brew basket has a flat bottom so that coffee grounds can be uniformly distributed for an even extraction. This KitchenAid model can accommodate paper filters as well as certain reusable GoldTone filters.

Automatic-Off Feature - A programmable auto-off feature ensures safe operations; it can be set to turn the machine off up to 4 hours post brew. The shutoff timer can be programmed in 30-minute increments.
