Features
Like most Krups products, the KM7000 Pro-Grinder and Brewer is a durable machine that will stand the test of time. It was designed to grind and brew outstanding coffee thanks to a powerful built-in conical burr grinder and quality brewing components. The Krups KM7000 also features a 10-cup glass carafe, pause and serve anti-drip valve and illuminated LCD display.
Built-in Conical Burr Grinder - Designed by Krups to grind at a consistent speed, the conical burr grinder on the KM7000 always delivers perfectly ground coffee. Here’s how it works: the conical burrs spin at a slower speed than most blade grinders, so the burrs don’t get too warm and you’ll never end up with burnt tasting coffee.
Advanced Controls - The KM7000 features 9 buttons that are very easy to use. So easy in fact, you might not even have to refer to the manual. A simple On/Off button allows you to turn the machine on and off at any time. The Cup button allows you to adjust the number of cups being brewed; 2, 4, 6, 8 or 10 cups. An Aroma buttons allows you to adjust the brewing time in the instance that you’re brewing a smaller pot of coffee. The Strength button gives you the ability to brew mild, medium or strong. The Auto-On feature allows you to program your Krups to brew coffee up to 24 hours in advance. The Filter buttons allows you to use pre-ground coffee and a paper filter rather than the built-in grinding feature. There is also a built-in clock on the KM7000 with an orange illuminated LCD. To set the clock and the Auto-On feature there are 3 programming buttons along the bottom of the control panel.
Versatile Brewing - The Krups KM7000 is one of the most versatile machines on the market because it has a built-in grinder and has the ability to brew using either beans or pre-ground coffee. A clear heavy-duty plastic bean hopper holds 8oz of beans. The built-in conical burr grinder has 5 settings, so you can adjust the grind based on your taste – simply adjust the dial on the front of the hopper and let the KM7000 do the rest. If you’d rather use pre-ground coffee, swivel the basket by using the thumb tab and insert a paper filter into the basket. Press the Filter button on the control panel and begin brewing.
Built-in Water Filtration with Duo Filters - The KM7000 comes with a Duo Water Filter that removes impurities like chlorine and limescale. Only purified water from the Duo Filter enters the brewing components of this machine. You’ll need to change this filter every 2 or 3 months to keep your machine running its best.
