Born and raised in Italy, the birthplace of espresso, the M4D Digital Stepless coffee grinder combines the power and great design of the other Macap M4 grinders, with the control and convenience a digital programming screen offers. Powered by a 250 watt motor, the M4D spins the 58 mm grinding burrs at 1400 rpm, has a tinted bean hopper that can store over a pound of whole beans, and uses flat burrs to grind the beans to a perfect consistency. Getting you ready for a perfect cup of coffee!

Digital Screen and Controls |

Easy to use digital screen and press buttons make this convenient to use. The screen is located directly above the coffee dispensing chute and above the screen is a silver button to enter into programming mode. |

Grinding |
|
After selecting your preferences, place the portafilter in the handle and press it against the red button. this will begin the grinding for a single shot. For a double shot or continuous grinding, enter into the programming mode and turn the silver button to the double shot or continuous grinding setting, then press the red button. |

Programming |
|
To activate programming mode, press and hold the silver button for ten seconds. Now spin the silver button to reach the settings for a single shot, double shot, or continuous grinding, and press the silver button to enter into your preferred setting. Spin the silver button again to find your preferred coffee dosage in .1 second intervals, and press the silver button to save the new grinding time and to go back to the menu. Spin the silver button until you reach “exit,” then press the silver button to exit out of programming mode. Dosage is programmed based on the number of seconds of grinding rather than entering a weight (grams or ounces) to grind. |

Adjustable Grind Settings |
|
The stepless grind settings very user friendly. When the machine is grinding, you can use both hands to turn the grinding ring smoothly to a coarser or finer setting. No lever is needed to change the grind settings. |

Cleaning |
|
The body of the M4D Digital can be wiped down with a damp cloth and all removable parts can be handwashed in soapy water. If needed, grind Urnex Grindz or rice to absorb any leftover coffee oils or residue. |
