The Nespresso Essenza D100 simplifies brewing with its programmable brewing buttons and exclusive use of Nespresso capsules. Stylish housing and the Essenza’s compact size make it a wonderful addition to any kitchen, letting you brew delicious espresso for yourself and your guests. Operation is also simple: just place a capsule in the machine, choose 1 of the 2 brewing buttons, and in just a few moments, hot, rich espresso will be dispensed into your waiting cup.

Not only is the Essenza D100 easy to use, it can also be customized to meet your tastes. The machine has 2 programmable brewing buttons, 1 for a short (single shot) and 1 for a lungo (double shot), and each can be set to dispense just the right amount of coffee. Maintenance is also a snap, with a removable drip tray, 34oz water reservoir, and dump box that can hold up to 14 spent capsules.

Nespresso Capsules
Designed for ideal taste, convenience, and cleanliness, Nespresso created their own line of espresso capsules. They are available in 2 sizes: short (for a single shot) and lungo (for a double shot). You never have to worry about grinding or tamping your own espresso beans, and with a variety of blends and single origin coffees to choose from, there’s always something new to try.
Please note that the Essenza is designed only for use with Nespresso capsules, and is not compatible with ESE pods or Lavazza Point Machine Capsules. Nespresso capsules can be ordered directly from Nespresso, through their web site or the catalog included with your machine.
Convenient Brewing
Brewing delicious espresso with the Essenza D100 is as easy as lifting the gray lever on top of the machine, placing a capsule inside, lowering the lever, and pressing either the short or lungo brewing button. The D100 will dispense fresh espresso into your cup, then automatically stop when the pre-set liquid volume is reached.
Simple Programming
If you want to change the factory settings for either the lungo or short espresso buttons, it’s very easy. Just place a capsule in the machine as you normally would, place the cup underneath the spout, and then press and hold the button you want to program. When your desired liquid volume is reached, just let go of the button and the setting will be saved.
Powerful Thermoblock
For quick and efficient heating of water for your espresso, the Essenza D100 features a Thermoblock system. This is a great feature for when you’re entertaining and need to make shot after shot of espresso, or for those early mornings when you need your espresso ASAP.
High-pressure Pump
The Nespresso Essenza D100 features a powerful pump for an ideal extraction from your espresso. With a 19 bar pump system, you’re sure to enjoy rich, delicious crema with every shot.
Steam Wand
The Essenza D100 does not have a steam wand, so if you want to make cappuccinos, lattes, and other milk and espresso drinks, we recommend purchasing an independent milk frother. To take a look at the milk frothers we offer, click here.
Removable Water Tank
To make filling and cleaning easy, the 34oz water reservoir on the Essenza D100 is removable. It is made of clear plastic, so you always know how much water you have left in the reservoir.
Drip Tray and Dump Box
Cleaning is made even simpler on the Essenza D100 with the removable drip tray and dump box. The internal dump box has enough room for up to 14 spent capsules. This makes both easy to clean by hand in your sink.
Stylish Design
It’s hard to compare with the unique, modern style of a Nespresso. The housing of the Essenza D100 is made of durable ABS plastic and features elegant curves. This housing is also easy to maintain with a quick wipe-down with a soft, damp cloth at the end of the day.
