Introducing the new Rocky Doserless Burr Grinder from Rancilio. This coffee grinder has all of the glorious features of the original Rocky Doser Grinder, but Rancilio removed the dosing hopper and replaced it with a universal coffee chute design. By activating a manual switch with you finger located below the chute, the grinder will grind your coffee beans and dispense the grounds right into your filter basket. This is a quick and convenient way to dispense coffee grounds on the go versus having to use the dosing hopper.

The Rancilio Rocky grinders have always been able to grind fine enough for any espresso machine, yet coarse enough for drip coffee makers. But, until now, it was difficult to use the Rocky for anything but espresso because of the dosing hopper found on the original version. But now with the doserless version, you can set the grinder to any coarseness level from Turkish (very fine) to French Press (very coarse) and dispense the grounds into any container from the chute. Any portafilter from any espresso machine will fit under the dispensing chute.

Burr Grinding Wheels - The Rancilio Rocky burr grinder uses slow turning commercial grade burr grinding wheels to crush the coffee bean into uniform coffee grounds. This is better than a standard blade grinder which usually does not produce uniform grind sizes. Consistent grind size is important to promote better taste and aroma. It is especially important if you are grinding coffee for an espresso machine which needs a fine and consistent grind. The Rocky's grinding wheels are stronger than any coffee grinders in its class offering excellent performance.

Multiple Grind Settings - The Rancilio Rocky offers a variable fineness setting. Simply turn the bean hopper to make adjustments from fine to coarse. It is capable of grinding from French Press through Turkish coffee!
