The Rocket Espresso Cellini is a direct descendant of commercial Italian espresso machines. Featuring an E61 brew group, a high capacity nickel plated copper boiler, and commercial grade components such as a separate stainless steel steam wand and hot water nozzle, the Rocket Espresso Cellini brings quality Italian coffee right to your door. It doesn’t cut corners on style or convenience, though. Its stainless steel housing looks great in different kitchens or office break rooms, and is easy to maintain and clean. Brewing is simple, requiring you only to raise and lower a lever to start and stop the flow of espresso from the coffee dispenser. Instant steam and hot water are convenient for making an americano, cappuccino, latte, or macchiato, as well as coffee free drinks such as steamers, tea, hot cider, or hot cocoa. For a great semi-automatic machine that brews consistently and reliably, the Rocket Espresso Cellini is sure to satisfy.

How to Brew |
With a lever operated brew group, the Rocket Espresso Cellini may look different than other espresso machines you’ve seen. Still, brewing is simple, and you’re in complete control. Choose either the single shot or double shot portafilter, and pull the lever up to begin dispensing espresso. When you have your desired amount, pull the lever all the way down until you can’t hear the pump working anymore. The flow of espresso will stop, and a bit of steam will be released from the 3-way solenoid valve, relieving the boiler pressure and getting the Cellini ready for its next brew. |
Copper Boiler |
The Rocket Espresso Cellini features a nickel-plated copper boiler with a brass endplate. This ensures that water is heated consistently to the proper temperature in order for the espresso to be perfectly extracted. The boiler holds 1.8 liters (nearly 61 oz) of water, so you don’t have to worry about running out of water between brewing and steaming. A thermoblock heating element provides the necessary heat. |
Brew Group |
The E61 brew group, which features a lever, ensures total heat stability. E61 brew groups are heavy and made of heat-retaining metals – the Cellini’s brew group is made of chrome-plated brass, and weighs 9 lbs. It is mounted on the front of the machine, so it absorbs radiant heat from the boiler, and it has channels cut through it for water to circulate continuously, keeping the entire brew group at a consistent, stable temperature. |
Steam Wand |
The stainless steel steam wand is located on the left side of the machine. Below the steam knob is a pressure gauge, which allows you to view the boiler pressure – you need about 1 bar of pressure in order to produce quality steam for making cappuccinos, lattes, and macchiatos. To steam, simply open the steam knob to release steam, and close the knob when you’re finished frothing and steaming. |
Hot Water Nozzle |
The hot water nozzle is located on the right side of the machine. Open the hot water knob to release water heated to brewing temperature, and close the knob when you have your desired amount of water. |
Water Tank |
The 100 oz water reservoir is removable from the back of the machine for easy rinsing and refilling. Remember to descale the Rocket Espresso Cellini once every 3-4 months to keep it functioning at its best. |
Pods |
The Rocket Espresso Cellini is not pod-capable. We recommend using freshly ground coffee and a quality tamper to achieve a great tasting espresso. |
Included Accessories |
