With the ability to deliver not 1, but 2 cappuccinos or lattes at the same time, the Primea Ring is an all-inclusive home coffee station. Like all super automatic espresso machines, the Primea Ring grinds, tamps and brews, but unlike most of the competition, this machine can froth and steam automatically. The Primea Ring features an internal frothing system and 2 dispensing spouts for double the espresso, and the contemporary click-wheel control system is as stylish and simple as an iPod.
The Primea Ring is loaded with features, giving you full control over 8 programmable drink selections, including temperature and strength settings for each one. And, to eliminate any need for a cumbersome milk pitcher or rubber hose draping across your countertop, the milk container is neatly integrated inside of the machine. To top off an impressive list of upgrades, the Primea Ring also has a stainless steel boiler, a state-of-the-art, motorized drip tray and an actively heated cup warmer to ensure your espresso stays hot in your cup.

Click-Wheel Control Dial |

The Primea Ring is pre-programmed for 8 different drink selections: hot milk, hot water, espresso, coffee, long coffee, espresso macchiato, cappuccino and latte macchiato. Accessing your preferred drink is made easy by a simple click-wheel dial, which lets you scroll through your choices and shows them on the digital display. To customize your drink settings, the Primea Ring has 4 control buttons around the click-wheel to access the menu, change coffee strength, adjust milk drinks, and select hot water. For each drink selection, you can program just about everything, from coffee and milk volumes to strength, temperature and pre-infusion settings. You can easily navigate through any of the machine’s programming features with the click-wheel, and when you want to confirm your changes, just press the coffee icon in the center of the dial. |

Touch2Cappuccino System |

Thanks to Saeco’s 2 dispensing spouts, you can make 2 lattes or cappuccinos at the same time. The internal milk container holds enough milk for up to 4 cappuccinos, and you can double the drink quantity by pressing the coffee button twice. With the ability to make 2 milk drinks at once, the Saeco Primea line is in a class by itself. Just place 2 cups below the dispensing spouts, press the milk button and use the click-wheel to make your drink selection, then choose your coffee strength and the Primea Ring does the rest. |

The Primea Ring features the patented Saeco Brewing System dial to give you real-time control over the brewing process. Located on the front of the dispensing spout, the SBS dial lets you change the strength of your coffee from mild to strong. You can even make adjustments as your coffee brews, adding another element of flexibility to your espresso experience. |

Since the Primea Ring has a fully integrated milk system, and can dispense milk drinks from both spouts, there’s no need for a frothing wand. With a dedicated button on the control panel for milk drinks, now your favorite lattes, cappuccinos and macchiatos are literally at your fingertips. The Primea Ring offers an extensive selection of coffee recipes from around the world, including traditional Italian ristretto or espresso, a typical American coffee, North European coffee, French/Swiss coffee, a goodnight latte, or a goodmorning coffee. |

Bypass Doser |
|
For times when you just want a quick cup of decaf, or if your guests are in the mood for something different, the Primea Ring has a built-in bypass doser to give you an alternative to the beans in your hopper. To brew your favorite preground coffee, just use the click-wheel to scroll to the beverage you want to make, and then use the aroma (coffee strength) button to select “pre-ground.” The Primea Ring comes with a coffee scoop so that you can add a batch to the bypass doser next to the bean hopper, then place your cup under the spout and press the coffee button in the center of the dial. As with all of your drink selections, you can customize your preground coffee for volume, strength and temperature, so no matter what coffee you use, you can always have it the way you like it. |

Low-Noise Grinder |

The built-in grinder on the Saeco Primea Ring features heavy-duty ceramic burrs to minimize heat levels and deliver a precise grind, even under strenuous use. Plus, the quiet motor is ideal for mornings, so you can wake up to a fresh cup of coffee without the constant worry of a noisy grinder. |

Touch Lift Drip Tray |

Unlike your average super automatic, the Primea line is equipped with a motorized drip tray that moves up and down according to your touch. Using Touch Lift Technology, the drip tray responds to a light touch on the front button. This allows you to adjust the drip tray for just about any cup size, from standard espresso cups to tall milk glasses. The motorized drip tray is also removable and can easily be washed by hand. |

Automatic on/off and Energy Saver |

Since the Primea Ring can make an assortment of drinks automatically, you can actually program it to be ready to brew when you wake up, and turn off when you go to bed. You can adjust the automatic timer using the “stand-by setting” in the menu, so that your machine will turn on and off at your preferred times. In addition, the machine is pre-programmed to go into energy saving mode after 3 hours of being idle, but you can adjust this in the same “stand-by setting” menu. |

Hot Water Dispenser |
|
The Primea Ring has an independent hot water dispenser for a quick cup of tea or hot chocolate. The small, swivel-head hot water dispenser is neatly hidden behind the coffee spout, and can be programmed for volume and temperature. You can operate the hot water dispenser simply by pressing the bottom button on the right side of the control panel. |

Adjustable Cup Warmer |
|
Yet another great feature found on the Primea Ring is its active cup warmer, which can be programmed to ensure your cups are always warm, or it can be turned off to save power. With enough room for 6 standard espresso cups, you can be sure you and your guests always get piping hot espresso. The cup warmer will maintain its heat independently, even when the machine is in Energy Saver mode, and you can change it by accessing the “cup warmer” function in the menu. |

Removable Water Reservoir |

Located just below the milk container on the right side of the machine, the 2-liter water reservoir is low profile and perfectly matched to the contours of the housing. The exterior of the reservoir is the same color as the side panels, and it can easily be removed for quick refills. |

Aqua Prima Water Filter |
|
Since the Primea Ring is designed to deliver high quality espresso, it’s no surprise that it comes with a water filter to get your drinks off to the right start. The included Aqua Prima filter will remove the sediments and odor in your water supply, which will reduce the buildup of limescale in your boiler and increase the overall taste of your coffee. |

Milk Rinse Cycle |
|
For the best tasting milk drinks, and to keep your machine running properly, it is important to rinse any milk residue from the machine’s internal components after every use. After you’ve made a milk drink, the Primea Ring will allow you to continue using the machine without performing the “milk rinsing cycle” for about 20 minutes, after which point the machine cannot be used until you perform a milk rinsing cycle. To rinse, the machine will pull water through the milk hose, so you must clean out the milk container and fill it with fresh water, or use the additional milk container as a clean water reservoir. To run the rinse cycle, place a large container under the coffee spouts, and select “yes” in the “milk circ. rinse cycle” sub-menu. The Primea Ring will go through the rinse cycle automatically. |
