Features
With the redesign of its Odea Go model, Saeco has unveiled some promising new features. The Saeco Odea Go II has five different grinder adjustments, as compared to the three settings seen on its predecessor. The new model has also been upgraded to include the Saeco Adapting System (SAS), previously only available on the high-end Talea series.
If you are looking for one-touch espresso brewing, but also want the option to adjust your coffee strength and volume, the newly redesigned Saeco Odea Go II is for you. This super-automatic has a futuristic appeal, and takes care of the tamping, grinding, and brewing automatically. The Saeco Odea Go II is a great value, giving you the choice to control the coffee volume and strength without overwhelming you with complicated menus or extravagant displays. The Odea Go II is an affordable option for making café-style drinks right in your home without much work.
Simple Controls - The Saeco Odea Go II is a great choice if you are looking for a high-tech espresso machine. The control panel on the Saeco Odea Go II keeps operation simple so that your super-automatic machine remains as automatic as possible. The control dial and brew button are located in the center of the machine for your convenience, and the hot water/steam button does not get lost in a sea of control buttons. To the left of the control panel, the machine ready light, descaling light, and alarm light attract your attention when needed.
One-Touch Brewing - With the Odea Go II, you can brew espresso by just pressing the central button—once for 1 coffee or twice for 2. The brew group inside the Odea Go II works behind the scenes to grind, tamp, brew, and dispense your espresso automatically. Sit back and enjoy your next cup of tasty, aromatic espresso without the hard work.
Steam Wand with Pannarello Attachment - The Saeco Odea Go II is poised and ready to make your favorite latte, cappuccino, or another frothy, milky drink. If you’re new to the art of frothing, rest assured that you can get barista-quality foam, thanks to the Pannarello attachment on the steam wand. It will evenly distribute steam, letting you easily froth and steam your milk.
Ceramic Burr Grinder - The Saeco Odea features an innovative ceramic burr grinder. This grinder gives you an even grind, which results in more exact dosing and blending. And, because the grinder is ceramic, it is long lasting and considerably quieter than other grinders on the market. The Go II comes with a grinder adjustment key to change your grind between 5 fineness settings. After changing the grind fineness, you’ll be able to taste the difference after just a few cups.
Adjustable Coffee Volume - With each drink, you might want to adjust the quantity of coffee that is brewed. Sometimes you may want an 8oz cup of coffee, while other times, you'll want a short espresso. Use the clearly labeled coffee dose button on the front control panel to adjust the coffee volume.
Adjustable Drip Tray - Since coffee cups come in all shapes and sizes, the Odea Go II was designed to accommodate them. You can adjust the drip tray to fit the height of taller latte glasses or the shorter espresso cups. Move the tray up or down by hand to the desired level. The drip tray also features a red float indicator that lets you know it’s time to empty it, and when it comes time for washing, simply remove the tray for easy cleaning.
Hot Water Dispenser - The Saeco Odea Go II can dispense hot water for tea, hot chocolate, and even instant soup. To dispense hot water, place your cup on the tray under the steam/hot water wand, make sure the steam/hot water button is off (indicating hot water) and then simply turn the silver knob on top of the machine to the hot water icon.
Cleaning and Maintenance Made Simple - The Odea Go II’s control panel has a series of indicator lights to alert you when maintenance is needed. The lights illuminate when it’s time to empty the dregs drawer, refill the water reservoir, or add more beans to the hopper. The Saeco Odea Go II also alerts you when it is time to descale the machine. Descaling your espresso machine removes scale build-up inside the brew components and will let your Odea Go II last for years. Descale the machine every 2-3 months, following the instructions in your owner’s manual.
Removable Reservoir, Dump Box, and Brew Group - The Odea Go II has an internal brew group that can easily be removed for a quick weekly rinse. The internal dump box, drip tray and the water reservoir are all removable as well. This is not only an efficient system, but it also keeps any messy grounds and spills off your countertop.
Wheel Base - The Saeco Odea Go II has been conveniently outfitted with a wheel base. This base allows you to easily move it across your counter top without having to lift it.
Accessories - The Odea Go II comes with a detailed user’s manual, grinder adjustment key, and cleaning brush.
