Features

The Saeco Talea Giro is a great combination of form and function, with stylish silver housing, elegant curves, and straightforward brewing controls. A perfect super automatic espresso machine for any modern kitchen, the Talea Giro lets you control your grind setting, coffee strength, liquid volume, pre-infusion, and more with the easy-to-use control panel. It even gives you 2 options to steam and froth milk for cappuccinos and lattes. You can use the manual stainless steel steam wand, or you can purchase the Saeco Milk Island separately for completely automatic steaming and frothing.

The Saeco Talea Giro has everything you need to make virtually any espresso-based drink you can think of. Cappuccinos, lattes, americanos, macchiatos, and more are just a few buttons away at any time, and the stainless steel boiler and Rapid Steam system let you switch between brewing and steaming with no wait time. Alert lights on the control panel will also let you know when cleaning cycles need to be performed, so even maintaining the Giro is a simple process.

Straightforward Control Panel - You can control almost every aspect of your espresso using the control panel on the front of the Giro. At the center of the control panel is the brew button, featuring an icon of a coffee cup. Coffee strength is set using the aroma button right below it with 3 coffee beans, and liquid volume is set using the silver knob around these buttons. Alert lights on the control panel will also let you know if you need to fill the bean hopper or reservoir, or if you need to empty the dump box, drip tray, or run a decalcification cycle.

Easy Brewing - Making espresso on the Giro takes just a few moments. Just set the coffee size using the liquid volume knob, select coffee strength using the aroma button, and then press the brewing button once for a single coffee or twice to double the amount. The machine takes care of the grinding, tamping, and brewing for you, then dispenses hot, fresh espresso into your waiting cup.

Simple Frothing - The stainless steel steam wand on the Saeco Talea Giro comes with a Panarello attachment for easy steaming and frothing. For completely automatic frothing, you can purchase the Saeco Milk Island draws steam directly from the Giro to perfectly froth or steam milk for cappuccinos, lattes, and more.

Powerful Boiler and Rapid Steam - When you’re entertaining guests, you want to be able to quickly make drinks so you can get back to the party. The Talea Giro features a stainless steel boiler and a Rapid Steam system, so you can switch back and forth between brewing and steaming without having to wait.

High-Quality Ceramic Grinder - A consistent, fine grind is key to great espresso, and that’s why the Giro has a low-noise ceramic burr grinder. It can be set to fine, medium, and course using the included grinder adjustment key. A safety feature also ensures the grinder will never run without beans in the hopper, so you don’t need to worry about damage to the burrs.

Adjustable Height Drip Tray - The Saeco Talea Giro can accommodate espresso cups to tall latte glasses using its manually adjustable drip tray. The drip tray can also be removed for easy emptying and cleaning.

Saeco Brewing System - To change the strength of your espresso at any time during the brewing process, the Talea Giro features the Saeco Brewing System. It’s controlled by a metallic dial right on the coffee dispensing spout and can be set to anywhere between mild and strong with just a quick turn.

Easy Cleaning - The Saeco Talea Giro is easy to maintain because of its automated cleaning cycles and alert lights. The Giro will run a rinse cycle right after start up to heat the brewing components and clean away any build up. Decalcification cycles should be completed every 2-3 months and the machine will remind you when this needs to be performed. The machine will also alert you when the drip tray and dump box need to be emptied, and this should also be done at the end of every day.

Hot Water Dispensing - If you want to brew a cup of tea, an americano, or add water to hot cocoa, the Giro can dispense hot water from the steam wand. Just press the hot water dispensing button to the right of the brewing button, and then turn the steam wand to the hot water icon.

Aqua Prima Water Filter - For the best tasting espresso possible, the Talea Giro comes with an Aqua Prima water filter to remove particles and chemicals that can alter the flavor of your shots. The Aqua Prima filter also helps to reduce build-up in your machine, and it should be replaced about once every 3 months.

Removable Reservoir, Dump Box, and Brew Group - For easy cleaning, the Saeco Talea Giro features many removable components. The 57oz water reservoir can be easily removed for refilling or cleaning, and it fits seamlessly into the left side of the machine. The dump box and brew group can also be removed for routine cleaning to get rid of any build-up.

Wheel Base - No one wants to pick up and carry an espresso machine to move it to a new location on the countertop. The Giro has a wheel base so you don't have to lift it. Just slide it to the most convenient spot on your counter.

Accessories - The Talea Giro comes with a user’s manual, Aqua Prima water filter, grinder adjustment key, and cleaning brush.
