The Solis Master Top offers a plethora of programming options, and features a dual boiler system – one for brewing, and one for steaming. This allows the Solis Master Top to brew and steam simultaneously for the ultimate in convenience. To make sure your espresso always tastes its best, the Master Top even includes brew group cleaning tablets – when the digital LCD screen indicates that the brew group needs a cleaning to remove coffee residue and build up, simply insert one of the tablets into the machine and press the clean button. The Master Top offers everything you could want and more out of a home superautomatic espresso machine.

Double Boiler System |
|
The double boiler system means that you have twice the power for brewing and steaming – you can even do both at once. There’s no down time between making espresso and frothing milk, so your cappuccino, latte, or traditional macchiato will be ready for you quickly. |

Programming |
|
Use the programming menu to control pre-brewing, coffee temperature, standby mode, clock setting, language, coffee volume, and coffee intensity. Of course, your Solis Master Top already comes pre-set, so you can stick with those settings or change them up for a little variety. Enter into the programming menu by pressing the button marked “M,” located under the flip-down control panel. The LCD screen will then make programming simple by displaying your different options. |

Cup Warmer |
|
The passively heated cup warmer on top of the Solis MasterTop allows you to keep your cups warm while creating a great display. Brewing espresso into a pre-heated cup can preserve the crema and flavors better than brewing into a cold cup. |

Design |
|
The Solis Master Top is housed in silver ABS plastic. Sturdily built, the digital display screen is at the center of the control panel with programming buttons to the left and right. The top cover of the machine can be flipped open to access the bean hopper, grinder, and bypass doser. |

Bean Hopper and Grinder |
|
The bean hopper holds 10.6 oz of your favorite beans. This hopper connects directly to the burr grinder, which grinds beans automatically every time you press the brew button. The grinder works quietly and consistently, so you don’t wake up the whole house when it’s time to brew. |

Bypass Doser |
|
If you prefer to brew a blend of beans that’s different than the beans in the hopper, the bypass doser allows you to use pre-ground coffee. Add coffee to the bypass doser using the included measuring scoop, then press the button designated by a coffee scoop. The Solis Master Top will now brew using the pre-ground coffee in the doser rather than the whole beans in the hopper. |

Steam Wand |
|
The steam wand allows you to foam and steam milk for a latte, cappuccino, or traditional macchiato. Turn the knob on the right side of the machine to release steam from the wand, and since the Master Top uses 2 boilers, you can even steam milk while brewing a shot of espresso. |

Hot Water Dispenser |
|
The steam wand can also be used as a hot water dispenser. Just turn the steam knob to the water droplets icon to begin dispensing hot water – a convenient feature for making tea, an americano, or instant soup. |

Water Reservoir |
|
The removable water reservoir holds 81 oz. It’s a good idea to use the Solis Aqua-Select water filter – this increases the length of time between descaling cycles and removes impurities from your tap water. Check your user manual for detailing instructions on how to descale. |

Machine Maintenance |
|
The Solis Master Top does a lot of maintenance for you – for example, it runs an automatic rinse cycle whenever it is turned on or off. The digital LCD screen will alert you when a brew group cleaning is needed, so insert a Solis cleaning tablet into the machine and press the clean button to clean the brew group. The drip tray and cover should be rinsed regularly to keep them free of coffee residue. |
