I love this machine in almost every important way. I'm not an espresso geek - I enjoy Caribou/Starbucks straight espresso (sometimes with whipped cream), and this machine actually beats them in terms of flavor, etc. It is good, thick espresso, with 3 programmable sizes. Nice crema with just about any bean I've tried. To get 2 shots, you simply have to press the button twice. I use it every morning to make 4-5 shots of espresso and often steam hot drinks with it in the evening. Improvements on the instruction manual!!!!!!!!! Good luck deciphering or finding the really important stuff in there. Temp of first shot is too low Some parts of machine is made of flimsy plastic -- the piece right above the dreg drawer broke immediately. Customer support -- non existent. Let's hope I never have to contact them. Difficult to take off second filter screen. Water capacity could be increased Flimsy plastic for swivel device that sits under machine - broke while taking it out of box. Hot water stream is pretty thin Device to change amount of coffee ground by auto-grinder is pretty worthless--flimsy, doesn't go back all the way (not intuitive), but I don't use this anyway (I have it set to max and keep it there).
