Slightly Used and Reconditioned Policies
At Aabree Coffee Company we want to make sure you are completely satisfied with your order and our service. Below, you'll find frequently asked questions and general information about our policies regarding the slightly used and reconditioned merchandise that we offer. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us toll free 1-888-280-8584.
What are slightly used and reconditioned products? Aabree Coffee Company offers a 30-day return policy only on new items sold in our store. As a result, our customers may elect to return or exchange the item they bought. Most items are returned with great care by the customer and are usually suitable for resale as "used" or reconditioned items. Customers return products for many reasons: a customer may change his or her mind, not like the product, or have difficulty operating it. Whether it is returned a month later or only the very next day, such an item must be identified as "slightly used" or "reconditioned" to be resold.
How are products reconditioned? Every product designated as used or reconditioned must pass a thorough examination. After repairing any defect and sanitizing when necessary, Aabree Coffee Company then repackages the merchandise in the original manufacturer’s box. Items that are slightly used or reconditioned will often show signs of use, and may bare minor cosmetic imperfections. In addition, reconditioned items may be missing some non-essential accessories.
Is there a warranty for slightly used and reconditioned products? All of the items are sold with a 6-month full warranty, unless otherwise stated. Please refer to the product you are interested in for warranty information.
Return privileges for Reconditioned/Slightly Used Items:
For a period of 15 days after you receive your merchandise please keep your receipt, original shipping container, original item merchandise box, packing materials, and all original documents in case you must return the item you ordered for any reason. If you would like to return this merchandise, please call our customer service number toll-free at 1-888-280-8584 from 9 AM - 8 PM Monday EST, 9 AM - 7 PM Tuesday-Thursday EST, or 9 AM - 5:30 PM Friday EST within 15 days of having received it. Returns of reconditioned items are subject to all other Aabree return policies.
Warranty Information General Warranty Terms and Conditions: All of the machines that we carry on our website are covered by a one-year manufacturers warranty. Please see the warranty information at the bottom of each item page for the products you are interested in purchasing. All of our machines are home machines and they are generally covered by a one-year parts and labor warranty through the manufacturer. This warranty covers parts and labor on your machine for the period of one year. Improper use of the machine can result in the loss of your warranty coverage. Also, please note that once the machine leaves the United States, all warranties are voided. The manufactures do not cover machines that have left the United States, and neither does Aabree Coffee Company, who reserves all rights.
Terms of Free Extended Warranty: Occasionally we offer free extended warranties on certain products, and/or product lines. Aabree Coffee Company provides all of these extended warranty services. The warranty is not valid on purchases from other retail sources and it is not transferable. Aabree Coffee Company reserves all rights for free extended warranties offered to our customers.
The extended warranty will take effect the day after your manufacturer warranty expires, and it follow the same policy and procedure as the original warranty. Merchandise that has not undergone regularly scheduled maintenance or has been abused will no longer be eligible for coverage under an extended warranty. Shipping and labor charges are non-inclusive of warranty.

Instructions for Draining your Boiler: Please note that the following information is simply a set of guidelines. Before attempting to drain your machine's boiler, you should consult your owner's manual first. Draining the boiler properly is the responsibility of the customer and you may be charged if any damage results from improperly completing this procedure.
Small Semi Automatics (NOT HEAT EXCHANGER) If your machine can brew and steam at the same time please see the instructions for the "Heat Exchanger" machines.
It is imperative that you read these guidelines completely before attempting the process. Feel free to contact our technical services department at 888-280-8584 with any questions you may have before draining your boiler.
The following procedure should only be performed on a machine when it is completely COLD. If you have used your machine on the same day you perform this procedure, you must ensure that the heating elements have completely cooled down to avoid the risk of being burned.
Draining the boiler:
1. Unplug the machine. 2. Remove any "loose" parts such as the portafilter handle, drip tray, drip tray grid, water reservoir, water reservoir cover, etc. 3. Lay the machine on its back. 4. Make sure all of the buttons and switches have been moved to the OFF position. 5. Plug in the machine. 6. Take a tall-sided container that can hold at least 20oz. of liquid and position it beneath the steam wand. 7. Tilt the steam wand slightly so that the container will catch any water that is expelled from the wand. 8. Using the power switch, turn the machine on. 9. This step will depend on the type of machine you have: 1. If your machine has a hot water dispensing button, use this button to activate the pump. 2. If your machine does NOT have a hot water dispensing button, use whichever button and/or knob allows you to dispense water from the steam wand to activate the pump.
After activating the pump, water should be coming out of the steam wand and being caught in the container placed below.
10. After water stops flowing from the steam wand, keep your container beneath the steam wand as you tip the machine on its head. 11. Allow the remainder of the water to drain out into your container. 12. Once the water flow stops, return the machine to sitting on its back. 13. Turn off the water flow and main power switches. Your machine's boiler is now drained.
Super Automatics Please note that these instructions will NOT work for Jura Capresso machines. You must consult your user manual for proper instructions.
It is imperative that you read these guidelines completely before attempting the process. Feel free to contact our technical services department at 888-280-8584 with any questions you may have before draining your boiler.
WARNING! In order to properly drain your super automatic's boiler, the machine must be heated to steaming temperatures. Both the machine and water will be at scalding temperatures. Draining the boiler:
1. Plug in the machine. 2. Turn the main power switch on. 3. Using the appropriate buttons/switches, heat your machine to steam temperature. Please note: this step may differ depending on your machine. Please consult your instruction manual if you are unsure how to heat your machine to steam temperature. 4. Take a tall-sided container that will not conduct heat and can hold at least 20oz. of liquid, and position it beneath the steam wand. 5. When the machine indicates it has reached steam temperature, use the appropriate steam knob or button to open the steam valve. Water will be extremely hot! Be careful of steam and splashing hot water. 6. While the machine is releasing steam, remove the water reservoir. 7. After steam and water stop coming out of the steam wand, use the appropriate steam knob or button to close the steam valve. 8. Use the appropriate buttons/switches, to turn off the steam production. 9. Turn off the main power switch. Your machine's boiler is now drained.
